Matteo Zanette - Lights over Lapland AB

Started my working life in retail but I soon realized that I had more things to do and discover around the world rather than spending my life waiting for customer to show up in a store.

So I packed my bags and I started a new journey that, more than a decade later, is not over yet. I have been traveling and lived in different countries trying to find a balance between work and lifestyle as for living between the mountains and at sea. Being an outdoor enthusiasts brought me to work in several stunning locations including working as wilderness guide in the Finnish Lapland. Since then I always had the call from the great North despite the fact I soon became a full time skipper on sailing yachts. After a few years trying to get back above the arctic circle but discouraged by being too busy on yachts, 2025 has arrived with a big opportunity offered by Lights Over Lapland that I took with no hesitation.

I am excited about being back to Lapland and being able to share my knowledge, skills and expertise in order to create memories that many of us are often only dreaming of. Thanks for reading, Matt.
