Marco Silvestri
I studied music and once traveled the seas as a musician. Later, I pursued industrial design and worked with some of the most renowned Italian companies in the world.
Along the way, I also discovered ecological building techniques and brought projects to life with my own hands. Yet, through every chapter of my life, one constant has always guided me: the longing to live close to nature. I’ve wandered through mountains and valleys, capturing landscapes and faces in remote places, and felt the pure wonder of a small fire glowing under a sky full of stars.
In 2024, quite unexpectedly, I found myself in Finnish Lapland. It was there that I realized how deeply the wilderness of these lands could become the next step in my journey.
To now have the chance to live in Abisko, Sweden and work with Lights Over Lapland feels like the culmination of a long path that I am eager to share with you.
