Originally from Spain, I have always been drawn to creative and active ways of experiencing the world. I studied Architecture, where I developed my passion for photography and learned to appreciate the way light, landscapes and spaces can completely change the way we experience a place. Outside of architecture, I have always found my greatest inspiration outdoors, through travelling, sailing and sport.

I have worked as a teacher and as a skipper, while also dedicating many years to competitive sailing. Being on the water and spending time in nature have taught me to appreciate the outdoors in all its different forms.

I have visited Abisko several times before, and every time I return, it feels familiar and completely new at the same time. There is something about this place that always makes you want to come back. Maybe it is the light, the incredible landscapes, or the way everything changes throughout the year. Every season brings something different, and I never get tired of discovering it.

Seeing the Northern Lights is an unforgettable experience. No matter how many times you see them, there is always that same feeling of excitement when they appear in the sky. Every display is different, and every time you get the chance to watch them, it feels special.

For me, being a guide is about much more than finding the Northern Lights. I love being in nature, sharing my enthusiasm and love for Abisko, and helping people experience the same sense of wonder that I feel every time I come here.

I look forward to welcoming you to Abisko and sharing its landscapes, lights and magic with you. Let’s explore the Arctic together!
