While your musher takes care of the driving, make sure to have your camera ready, as you will undoubtedly want to capture many beautiful photos while exploring the wonderful winter landscape unique to our location in Oinakka. During this incredible dog sledding adventure, you will silently travel through a sparkling frozen winter landscape with ancient pine forests, spectacular frozen lakes, and beautiful wetlands.
We begin the adventure from our camp, located just outside Kiruna, near the world-famous Icehotel. Along the route, we will take a break and enjoy a traditional ‘fika,’ with a steaming hot drink and delicious cookies by the campfire.
Our guide will share stories about the area, such as how the local Indigenous Sami people interact with wildlife, before we head back to camp.
Meeting point for the transfer is the reception of your accommodation in Kiruna.
Please be ready to depart 5 minutes before the start time of the tour. Note that the pick-up time may be slightly delayed depending on the pick-up locations for other participants.
All transfers for this activity are only available with pick-up and drop-off at accommodations in Kiruna (Jukkasjärvi, Kurravaara).
Transfer, Swedish fika, winter clothing, shoes, gloves and a hat are included in the price.
