I’m a very curious person, always striving to learn something new about the world and share it with others. Naturally, I became a teacher. But life is short, and the world is wide, so I ended up wandering off the beaten path. I try to spend as much time as possible outdoors and traveling, creating adventures, and getting to know new people and cultures. Yet, I’m always drawn back to the Nordic countries.
As a child, I spent many summers camping in Sweden, splashing around in clear blue lakes and eating kanelbullar. Later, I lived in Finland, teaching German at a local school, and forming heartwarming friendships in the freezing cold. And sometime in between, Norway gave me an absolutely breathtaking, out-of-this-world experience: my first time witnessing the Northern Lights swirling and dancing overhead.
These countries, fused together by Lapland, hold a special kind of magic. Now, my journey has brought me back to Abisko, a place that combines many aspects I cherish about the North: stunning natural beauty and the certain peace and quiet that the snow-covered landscape brings to my soul. And that’s not even mentioning the aurora. I feel very fortunate to unite two of my favorite things: experiencing the natural and cultural beauty of the Nordics and sharing these timeless, magical moments with people from all corners of the world.
