Your sled will be driven by one of our professional musherss who will take you through the silent Arctic wilderness where you will be able to experience proper Arctic darkness with nothing but your guide and a sleigh of four legged friends as your guide. This evening expedition will give you an opportunity to experience the silence of Arctic winter while you sit by a crackling fire and wait for the northern lights to dance in the sky above Oinakka.
We start the adventure from our camp in Oinakka, located just outside Kiruna close to the world famous Icehotel.
Along the route we will take a break and enjoy a traditional Swedish fika, a piping hot drink and delicious cookies, by a campfire and our guide will tell you stories of legendary Aurora Borealis.
There will be time to take photos along the way – please note that this is not a photography tour!
Meeting point for transfer will be the reception area at your accommodation in Kiruna.
Please be ready to leave 5 minutes before the starting time of the
tour. Please also note that the pickup time may be slightly delayed
depending on the pickup locations of other participants.
All transfers to this activity is only with pick up and drop off at Kiruna (Jukkasjärvi, Kurravaara) accommodations.
The Northern Lights is a natural phenomenon, thus we cannot guarantee that you will see it during your trip.
Transfer, Swedish fika, winter clothing, shoes, gloves and a hat are included in the price.
