Originally I am from Austria but Sweden, specifically Lapland, has become my happy-place. I fell in love with it after I worked as an event photographer on music festivals around Europe.
I have studied photography in Vienna and started to work for a big camera-company, while building my own business. I specialized on events and loved to capture music performances in picture and video-form.
But one summer I came to northern Sweden to experience unique nature and hike the amazing trails starting in Abisko. Somehow I got stuck here and found a job for the season. What at first should have been a one-winter-adventure, became a second home to me. At the moment I cannot imagine living somewhere else. So I changed from exclusively event-photography and portraits to landscapes and documentary style photography.
Life In Abisko feels a lot simpler, but also more exciting than anywhere else. There is never a boring day or night in the arctic, especially when the northern lights are dancing above us.
