Do you have a large group that wants to enjoy a leisurely trekking adventure in Abisko National Park? Lights Over Lapland is excited to announce that we have expanded our National Park Permit and we are now able to offer groups of up to 30 guests an opportunity to enjoy a scenic hike in Abisko National Park that covers all of the highlights that make Abisko National Park such an incredible place.

This exciting hike usually lasts around two hours in total. The trip is all on well established trails and is mostly level, with a slow long gradient that takes you in and out of the valley and back to the starting point of the trip at the STF Abisko Turiststation.
Please let us know if you have any physical limitations that would make it difficult for you to keep up with a group of ten guests and one guide. The age limit of guests joining our tour is a minimum of 7 years old, due to the length and amount of time you will be out hiking.
This adventure allows you to see the Abisko River canyon, the incredibly scenic Abisko River delta, which flows majestically into Lake Torneträsk, frozen waterfalls and massive mountains that surround the Abisko valley. During this trip we will discuss Sami culture, look for animal tracks, and if luck is on your side you might just see a moose, reindeer, fox or owl. Some very lucky groups even may even see an otter playing on the frozen shoreline of the river. This trip is similar to our popular Morning Hike In Abisko, but can take place at nearly any time based on your request and availability.

While many of the operators interested in this tour will likely have access to their own coach, we wanted to create an experience that is as flexible and easy to book as possible. To make this happen, we have partnered with the local transportation company, Visit Abisko, and can arrange transfers to and from the adventure for groups of all sizes between October and March.
Transportation is included for groups of up to 16 guests. For larger groups of 17–30 guests, transportation can be arranged for an additional fee. Our partnership with Visit Abisko makes it easy to arrange additional transport for your guests between local accommodation and our tours. If your group already has its own coach, you are of course welcome to use that instead.
