Walk along the Kungsleden virtual tour
Kungsleden - 360 VR (Abisko, Sweden)
Enjoy a perfect winter day on the Kungsleden starting in Abisko National Park Sweden. The Kungsleden, also known as the King’s Trail, is a beautiful trail that covers more than 400 kilometers deep in the heart of Swedish Lapland. This famous trail has existed for centuries and has been used by Sweden’s indigenous people for as long as anyone can remember. Trekkers from all over the world enjoy hiking through deep valleys, past pristine glacially fed rivers and over tall mountain passes.
During our VR tour of the Kungsleden, Light Over Lapland photographer and guide Oliver Wright starts at the STF Abisko Touriststation and heads out along the Abisko River with a grand finale at the famous Dag Hammarskjöld meditation place with a sweeping view of Mount Nuolja, the Abisko River and the world famous Aurora Sky Station.
