Formed in 2010, Lights Over Lapland initially started as a one-man project and with a mission that has remained the same ever since: to help people from all over the world see and photograph the incredible Northern lights in one of the world’s best locations, Abisko National Park. Brought to life by Chad Blakley who started out as the sole guide, Lights Over Lapland has continued to attract like-minded people. Today, the international and multilingual team consists of 20 highly dedicated, passionate and top qualified crew members who strive every day to be the absolute best at what they are doing — providing guests with a once-in-a-lifetime experience, whether it be on a morning hike in Abisko National Park, an Ultimate Aurora Photo Adventure, or a private, fully customized Aurora Tour.
