This virtual tour video takes you a few kilometres southeast of Abisko National Park to the reindeer herding village of Rautas. Rautas has twenty-seven, year-round residents who nearly all earn their living from reindeer husbandry. During this film, we have the opportunity to ride through meter deep snow the way that the local Sami people have for eons – on a handmade sled being pulled behind a reindeer.
