Lights Over Lapland was formed in 2010 as a small, family run company that specialized in helping people from all over the world see and photograph the northern lights in Abisko National Park.

Since our inaugural season in 2010 we have grown into one of the the most respected tourism companies in Sweden and helped Abisko build its reputation as one of the best places on Earth to see the northern lights. We are proud of the fact that this growth has allowed us to hire the most experienced, friendly and professional photographers in the business. Every one of our guides are full time professional photographer whose number one focus is to help you see and photograph the northern lights during your adventure in Abisko.
